Practicalities

The 2018 Palaeolithic-Mesolithic conference will be held in the BP Lecture Theatre, below the Great Court at the British Museum. The British Museum is easily accessible by public transport and is within walking of mainline train stations (Kings Cross, Euston, Waterloo, Charing Cross): you can find details of how to reach the museum here.

The British Museum is an accessible environment with lifts between all floors, including adjacent to the main entrance steps and down to the conference location: some limited parking is available for disabled visitors but must be pre-booked in advance, by emailing tickets@britishmuseum.org.  You can find full access arrangements here and helpful advice/ views of the rooms from DisabledGo here but please do contact clucas@britishmuseum.org if you have specific questions.
